Welcome to your new website. In this video, we'll guide you through responding to website enquiries effectively. To get started, you'll need to create an account and download the website app. Keep in mind that the permissions and access you receive will depend on your role in the business which would have been provided to us while designing your website. These permissions may vary from person to person.

You may have access to manage enquiries, view analytics, update and upload content, or manage bookings and payments. Let's dive in.

First, check your email for an invite from Wix to collaborate on your website. Accept the invite from the email, then sign in or create an account. Use the email address the invite was sent to when creating your account.

Next, head to the app store and download the Wix Owner app (not Wix Studio). Once the app has downloaded, log in with the account you just created.

Now that you're logged in, tap your profile image in the top right corner. Go to "Manage Account Settings," then "Basic Info," and set your name and an optional profile picture. If you have more than one person managing your website, this will be the name and profile picture that shows to your customers when they contact you via the live chat.

Return to the main settings page and under "App Settings," tap "Notification Settings." If prompted to choose a website, select the one we've designed for you. Make sure push notifications are enabled.

Scroll down to "Inbox" and turn off "New Visitor on Site."

You're all set! Your website is now ready for efficient management.

When visitors initiate a live chat, you'll receive a notification. Simply tap the notification to access your inbox and respond to their inquiries. Within the chat, you can select the preferred method of communication, share content, or view their contact details.

If you have a contact form set up on your website, notifications will be sent to your main email address. When responding to these emails, you can reply directly to the notification email and your message will be sent to the customer.

Now, if you have an Instagram business or creator account, or a Facebook page, these would have already been linked to your website. You can conveniently view and respond to messages from these platforms directly within the same app, accessible under the 'inbox' section. It's important to note that Instagram and Facebook policies allow a 7-day window for responding to messages. After this period, replies can only be made directly through Instagram or Facebook.

If WhatsApp has been linked to your inbox, the process differs slightly. You won't be able to use the WhatsApp app itself; instead, you'll manage messages solely through your Wix Owner app. Here, you'll have 24 hours to respond. After this time, you'll only be able to save the contact's number and communicate with them via your personal WhatsApp account. It's worth mentioning that for all three platforms, the response window of 7 days or 24 hours resets with each new message received.

That's it! You're now ready to start responding to your website enquiries.
